Sashimi

Fresh tuna,salmon,octopus
Soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, slivered radish

Dragon roll, cucumber roll,seaweed salad

Last night's dinner was Japanese food. It is such a treat to have such fresh tasting food that I cannot generally get living in Galena. While our town has a Japanese restaurant, the food doesn't quite taste the same perhaps because of the easy accessibility to the water but then again, it may just be my imagination. Nevertheless, it was delicious. I am thankful for the glimpse of diverse living during my stay here in San Mateo.
